Therapies
Counselling and Psychotherapy

There may be different reasons that bring you for counselling or psychotherapy; perhaps a specific life event or something particular that is worrying you. You may be experiencing a general feeling of unhappiness, emptiness or anxiety that is difficult to identify, talk about and change. 

 

I offer short term and long term psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy to explore together feelings, thoughts, patterns and behaviours in your life.  Together we can think about how and why they came about, reflect on your important life experiences and relationships that have shaped the person you are today.

Autogenic Training and Therapy 

Autogenic Training (AT) is a technique that is taught to you weekly over 9 sessions. With practice, AT can help reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, manage stress-related symptoms and bring about state of rest and recovery at will and with no special equipment.

 

I offer you a safe and supportive therapeutic space to be curious about your physical and emotional life story as you learn this  technique.  This AT course is uniquely tailored to your needs and once learned, gives you a life-long skill and a space to step back at will from the stresses and fluctuations of life that carry us through the day and often into the night.
